Complete excavation services for commercial building contractors
Commercial builders and developers have a lot on their plate. It takes teamwork to make all the components of a commercial building project successful. At Sarette Excavation, we have been working for commercial developers and builders in New Hampshire since our company started.
When it comes to finding qualified commercial excavation contractors, there are several key areas that commercial project coordinators look for:
Fully insured, licensed, and bonded. There are many heavy equipment operators who can dig out a stump. In coordinating excavation services for commercial projects however, each subcontractor needs to maintain their own insurance and licenses, as well as provide bonding for road work that may be performed on the project. All of Sarette Excavation’s drivers hold valid CDL’s and are drug tested as a condition of employment. Our insurance limits meet or exceed those required for commercial and municipal work, and we provide insurance binders upon request.
Complete quote. Change orders can wreak havoc on a commercial building project’s budget. It’s critical that the general contractor knows all of what is included and excluded in the excavation contractor’s proposal. A proposal from Sarette Excavation includes an itemized list of services to be provided, as well as permits and fees that may be associated with those services. For example, if the scope of work includes installing underground utilities which involve cutting the street, our bid price will include road degradation fees, bonding, or other exclusions that may apply. Not only does this help the general contractor in planning the budget, it also improves efficiency once the project is underway.
Ready to work. Flexibility is perhaps the most valuable asset in a qualified commercial excavation contractor. Because of the broad range of what we do, Sarette Excavation is able to offer complete excavation services, or on an “à la carte” basis – as the general contractor needs us. We can take care of that sewer and water hookup, or we can simply provide trucking and hauling services. Best of all, we have the equipment and staff to complete a job in timely and efficient manner. Because in a commercial building project, it’s very true that “time is money!”
